Therapeutic & Deep Tissue Massage in Canmore
Clinical and deep-tissue massage techniques for lasting pain relief, injury recovery, and stress release. Every session is tailored to your specific condition — from acute injury and chronic tension to post-surgical rehabilitation and occupational strain.
27 years of clinical expertise in every session
Therapeutic massage goes beyond relaxation. Lisa’s three-year, 3,000-hour massage diploma — combined with 27 years of specialist practice — means every session is clinically informed, goal-directed, and precisely adapted to what your body actually needs on that day.
Whether you’re recovering from a sports injury, managing chronic pain, decompressing after high-stress work, or working through post-surgical rehabilitation, Lisa draws on the full spectrum of techniques — Swedish, deep tissue, clinical, myofascial, and trigger point — to build a treatment that delivers real, lasting results.
Athletes, active people, and those who need scar tissue release. It’s also for those who just love deep tissue massage. A combination of modalities such as active release techniques, myofascial release with trigger points, and Asian cupping.
Lisa studied the Travell method of myofascial release and trigger points during her 3-year massage therapy studies at OVCMT. She later took myofascial postgraduate courses with Natali Rao and Randi Persad in 2005. In 2008, Lisa did her ART Masters course directly under Dr. Leahy during the Kona Worlds IRONMAN and worked in the medical transition tents and finish line. She mainly worked with the Japanese athletes using her fluent Japanese language skills.
This is a perfect treatment after activity or races.
